Winter Sport Sign Ups: September 15 – October 15

We are gearing up for our Winter season and invite all of our athletes and volunteers to SIGN UP TODAY!

Step 1: Select your Sport

  • Browse the list of sports available below and take the next step in your Special Olympics journey.

Step 2: Fill Out the Winter Sport Interest Form

  • ATHLETES: Fill out the interest form that pops up under your selected sport. You can sign up for more than one sport!
  • VOLUNTEERS: Either CLICK HERE for the Volunteer Form or select a sign up below. 

IMPORTANT: Signing up does not guarantee participationParticipation is dependent on available volunteers. We will create a waiting list if rosters fill.

Alpine Skiing

SIGN UP FOR ALPINE SKIING – VOLUNTEER FORM

Alpine skiing was first introduced as an Official Special Olympics Sport in 1977 at the Special Olympics World Winter Games in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. The training season is usually from December to February.

Bowling

SIGN UP FOR BOWLING – VOLUNTEER FORM

Bowling was introduced as a Special Olympics sport in 1975. Bowling is mainly fall and winter sport and training is usually from September to March.

SIGN UP FOR FLOOR HOCKEY – VOLUNTEER FORM

 

Floor hockey was first introduced as a Special Olympics sport at the 1970 Special Olympics World Winter Games. Floor Hockey events combine both team and individual skills competitions. It is the only team sport among the Special Olympics Winter Sports. Floor Hockey training season is usually from November to March.
